Upon graduation from high school Garcia went on into Texas Christain University studied there for a few years before moving into University of Texas. University of Texas. At the University she was given the chance to play on a bigger size and develop her abilities with time. Angela Akin Garcia chose journalism over golf despite finding happiness and fulfillment as a player. So, once her graduation from the university and landed the job of a Fox Sports Southwest journalist.
