She fought Lee again in the same episode but was unable to defend her title. Ariana also fought Lee at her first match at the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational that Lee did win. She was joined by Naomi Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae and Summer Rae in July 2014 to take on Nikki Bella against a handicap six-on-one match. She only appeared on the scene in the event of an assault by Nikki and Naomi. Then, she was offered the chance to compete with Naomi in the Battleground pre-show event. Ariana won the match. Their rivalry developed as a result. They took on tag-teams and handicap matches throughout the summer. Since then, until 2016, Ariana competed against a variety of fellow wrestlers, including Paige Bella Twins Alicia Fox and Asuka. WWE confirmed in 2016 that Ariana was released after two months.
